• 1996 Continuing Further training, dentist for oral surgery and Mrs. B. Schulte, doctor for maxillofacial surgery in Brilon
• Sept. 1996 Doctorate with Prof. Dr. U. Ehmer (Orthodontics Department of the ZMK-Clinik, WWU Münster) and Prof. Dr. D. Jones (experimental orthopedics, WWU Münster). Topic of the doctoral thesis: "Extraction of primary, bovine osteoblast cultures according to the periosteum waxing method and their behavior under hyperphysiological tensile stress" Overall ranking: "magna cum laude".
